This is a reel of the work I did while I attended The CUNY Graduate School of Journalism.
My final capstone project.
Jianbing is a Chinese breakfast crepe. One of the owners of Bing Kitchen on the Lower East Side shows how they are made.
The community of Sheepshead Bay is beginning to see its neighborhood slowly change, and they’re starting to see these changes as a negative impact.
Since 2014, the development of luxury condos have been slowly creeping their way into the family-friendly community, causing them to worry about parking, traffic and sewer infrastructure.
Last year, the beloved El Greco diner on 1821 Emmons Ave, which stood overlooking the bay for over 40 years, was demolished to make way for luxury condominiums.
A three-minute walk from the former diner stands another development. The Voorhies Avenue Tower, a 28-story residential tower, should allow its first tenants to move in by the spring of 2017.
